Just left SF…saved &1100 for 6 month…they have all kinds of excuses…found Allstate number online…local Allstate guys couldn’t do any better ..State Farm - I’ve had them since 1982 and they cover all my vehicles, house, daughters cars and house, brothers stuff too.
Never a problem with payout. Decent rates. But they are picky on who they will cover. My folks was with them back when I turned of driving age…. I have been on them since.
I feel for ya. I've had the same insurance company since I was 15. They used to be a good company, but no ins. company is as good as they used to be. I don't have a perfect record, but it ain't bad either. I have and do shop around from time to time and haven't really found anyone better. You definitely need a good company to back you up. So I probably do pay some extra because I have several vehicles and don't drive much anymore. I used to think highly of them because they did help me out back in the day. But I guarantee you I've made up for it over the yearsright up until they raise your rates three diff times for one incident!
Yes, through the years when I was young I had to get a different carrier to insure performance cars and bikes until I got olderI hate to hear that. I don’t doubt they did…I’m sure they have screwed a few folks good. They have usually been pretty good to me though. I’ve been with them since I was 15yo. I used Allstate once for about two months and went right back to SF. The only real bitch I have with them is they won’t cover bikes very easily. When I rode , I always had to have someone else cover the cycles.
WOW, also I have some more news for you. You might be tagged with no ins. on the state's computer system as ins. companies can report you as uninsured. If this is the fact, you drive by a patrol car with a tag reader, which most cars have now days. You might get pulled over. If you can't prove you're insured, you're vehicle will be impounded. Just sayini think I messed up cancelling my policy because I didn’t want to pay the 400. Now State Farm, geico, and progressive won’t insure
Did you cancel your policy before you had another policy in place?i think I messed up cancelling my policy because I didn’t want to pay the 400. Now State Farm, geico, and progressive won’t insure
