I've got a whole house gen set. It fires up every Saturday morning to test run, and it gets serviced by me when the computer on it tells me too, with whatever it tells me it needs.

What's your plan when it asks for $10k and a spa day?

Don’t have one, one advantage of living next to a fire station the power company gets power on quick. Longest we have been without electricity in the 39 years we’ve lived here was about 2 hours during the blizzard of ‘93.
Probably do need to get one just in case!

Yes I do, actually used it twice now for 8+ hours each time within the last 6-8 months. Prior to that twice in 17 years. It’s a nice piece of mind 👍🏻💡⚡️

Yes this one does, still Sawnee EMC is quick to get power restored when it goes out.
