While getting my 2015 Ram 1500 Quad Cab fixed, I requested a truck from Enterprise (insurance paying for it). They put me in a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Crew Cab with the Bighorn package. Loving the extra room, hating the gas mileage. Big difference between my 3.6 and the 5.7. Maybe when I don't work so far away I can swing the HEMI, but not right now.
My 6.4L Hemi gets palatable mpg and my truck weighs 7000lb with fuel and toolbox
I guess I'll be the first and say I drive a Honda Ridgeline AWD. Rides like a luxury SUV, does what I need a truck to do, and get 24 mpg combined. It was a PITA to get the deer loaded as the bed is a higher than a standard truck.
With a 160 mile total commute your idea of palatable and mine are probably different. My dream truck is a Ram Power Wagon, but I'm going to have to make a lot more money and work a lot closer to home.
My favorite mod I see frequently on Ga 400 is the one where these dudes jacked their truck up , installed ten times brighter LED headlights and didn’t aim them down so they blind every god forsaken soul on the road.
