Who else considers...

It seems I'm not the only one that feels this way, but if I want the gun, I'll buy box or no, but I do prefer that everything from the factory be included. I do think having box and docs does increase the sales potential.
 
I keep the box and throw the gun away. Actually, to me a box just takes up room. But I don't buy collectable guns because it comes with a box, I buy collectable gun because of the gun.
 
if you have a 1960s-1980s smith&wesson then it is considered, but if it's a firearm produced within the last 20-25 years then not so much unless it's a very rare limited edition with special box
 
I don't really care about the box when I buy something, but I hang onto the boxes that I have. Some of them are good for travel. The Springfield boxes, for example, are perfect for travel cases,.can be locked and are even airline approved. None of that matters to me, but it may to some.

Again, I don't really care if I have a box or not, but I do wonder why someone would throw away a factory case?
