I am considering for the first time buying a gun that I don't plan to shoot. Who has guns They bought that they've never planned a shoe when they bought it?

Bought a nib 1970/80's era .44 mag S&W just for collectability years ago. Got bored since I couldnt shoot it and traded it off. Not planning on getting another non shooter since I dont have room in the safe.
I have a couple....older, collectible stuff. Don't really like it...so I'm looking for good cowboy action loads for my 1st gen Colt SAA.
I am thinking it would drive me nuts to have one that I wasn't supposed to shoot. I've passed on guns in the past that were in to good condition to shoot that I knew a collector my want.
Pictures of them are cheaper.
I don't shoot any of my rifles. They were all purchased for the Art factor.

I do own a couple guns I have never shot but never bought a gun just to not shoot it.
I always intend to shoot every firearm I obtain.
If I don't shoot them it's because I just don't get the time to or I find something else I want and trade it off before I ever get the chance to shoot it.
As far as shooting guns that are too nice to shoot.....those are the ones I really try to make the point to shoot or carry.
Just like having a super hot Wife but never putting your hands on her........that would be a sin.
