5.56 for helihog hunting, 308 LMT for deer and night hunting hogs.

5.56 in the 69-77 grain weight bullet is a show stopper to 300 yards. I have never had one run even a foot.

i been debating about bringing mine out to the woods if i can get a hold of a upper in something a bit beefier than 5.56 for it. want something in 300blk or 6.8 (yes i know 5.56 can take deer, i just prefer beefier rounds)





....but my 308 gunsite would cry if i left her behind.

Baby hunter likes a 10.5 pistol in .223. She's still learning to sit still but her grunt calling skills are phenomenal. She called up 2 last week and promptly scared them off.

55 grn, Horandy TAP has taken a 350lbs hog at 50yrds roughly, it ran 2 feet. It also dropped a deer from the same distance.
