Who makes the absolute best AR lowers?

I've always had good luck wth most lowers. But when it came time to SBR one, I picked a milled, POF lower with the ambi bolt release built right into the lower - no need for a MagPul bad lever dangling off the side of the gun...

All milspec forged AR15 lowers are milled. You are thinking Billet.

That still looks plastic to me...

It does to me as well which is why initially I only posted the picture of the other side. When looking at the other side you can clearly see that it is a metal lower.

-----EDIT-----

After doing a bit a research it appears that is infact a Carbon Fiber lower.

Oh........well crap. I know there has gotta be at least one broken aluminum lower out there some where. Just imagine one. :thumb:

Amazingly enough, besides broken tabs for the trigger guards, I cannot find a single picture on the internet of a broken AR15 lower that isn't Poly, Plastic, or Carbon Fiber.

While Dunkel and I disagree regarding some boiler room topics, I have to say he is one of the more intelligent members here on the ODT and usually enjoy reading his posts.

He's know RSFCowboy but still a pretty good guy.
