Why 10?

It doesn't cost anything (no budget is needed for enforcement)
It makes politicians appear to be "doing something" about crime
It's politically expedient to blame the mag/gun rather than the scumbag who did the crime(who by the way is from a "community" and has family and friends who vote)
The type of voters who'd get upset with you for enacting the law aren't your voter base anyway
People who violate malum in se law aren't going to care about malum prohibitum law and the type of folks who'll obey malum prohibitum law are highly unlikely to break those classed as malum in se.

What we need is a politican to propose a law that would require people to eat with smaller spoons because we all know its the spoons that make people fat!

I love the USA and what it USED TO STAND FOR, but sometimes I trully dislike the people in it. And fear that before I am old and gray we will be just another helpless country.....

Guys like us may not live to be old and gray.
