why are we not starving north korea to death?

I have a passing interest in North Korea.
I need to find the pictures that were smuggled out of North Korea by a journalist... One of the is of a North Korean picking grass to eat.
Problem is Kim Jong Ii doesn't care what happens to the people, so long as there are enough of the alive to carry out his projects. Even then, they are as poor as dirt. Sometimes the North Korean Air Force does it's flight training on the ground.

I am libertarian. I believe our government shouldn't send any money or food anywhere. Thats not its job.

The mormon church, just one charity/church that would love to help, owns more farm land than any private entity anywhere.
