Why are you not an ODT supporter???

When I first joined I wasn't exactly sure what being a supporter even meant. I then won a giveaway from AirOpsMgr (who I guess I now see is gone? 
). Brick of .22 when the panic was started. I thought, really nice guy, nice giveaway, great place! And felt obligated. Since then, given the amount of time I spend on here and the people I've met (without exception all good folks) it's out of a sense of duty.

I have donated enough cash to this site to pay for a couple lifetime memberships. I did it back in 2010 when there was a ton of chest thumping along the lines of "Supporters are better because......", and trade/sale/give away threads for "Supporters Only". I refused to purchase the supporter banner then because of the supporter asshattery. You don't see that much anymore. Now we have the "I have been around here awhile, what's wrong with all these new Craig's List Noobs" asshattery.

I let my supporter status run out in April..why I didn't renew you ask? Because I got sick and tired of getting infracted "because I couldn't hit the back button" all the while a no supporter could rape the fool out of on price. Yeah I know I'm butthurt and all that but when I said I wasn't going to renew my supporter status other supporters said "why don't I just mail you the 18 cents or whatever the amount of your money is left in the machine". Why would I want to be classified as a supporter if that's what it means? Supporters do not get any special treatment or protection other than a bigger inbox, access to the feed and playing the game on giveaway day... The funny thing is folks want to bust threads about Dicks Sporting goods and how they suck and refuse to spend money there. I'm not saying the ODT sucks because that's evident it doesn't. If it did I'd leave but I refuse to support the forum because of how I was treated by a couple of mods and the sheltering of flippers. Nuff said.
I'm sure the flames of Dixie will be all over this post but oh well. The op asked and its a legitimate reason for me to say it. Is my non-15.00 going to upset any apple carts around? Nope. Truthfully if 100 guys refuse to spend money at Dicks it won't either. It does however make us feel a little better right?
