But after the selling price of firearm, sales tax and transfer fees, you're looking at more like an extra $50-$150 for a firearm selling between $300-$1200. Your $25 doesn't go as far.Yeah but that's kind of a little bit worth it when you're looking at a new unmolested gun versus a pre-owned gun that you don't know how it's been run. I get transfer fees for 25 bucks. Sales tax is a gimme that's going on everything you buy. And I would rather pay that than give the guy $25 less then the new asking price just out of spite. LOL
