Why don't we have a landfill in Henry Co?

Change is inevitable but there is nothing wrong with well thought out and planned controlled growth rather than the chaos approach.
Well you know time is always changing and things always seem darkest before the dawn. But if one focuses on all the negatives in life that's all you'll ever notice.

The only people I know who are happy with what's happened to our county are the developers, builders and crooked politicians.

Like every county or city or state across the US. We all have problems and corruption. One should fight to change it.

I'm not going anywhere but I certainly don't fault anyone else for getting out. The decisions that have led to our current situation have long since been decided and the damage is irreparable so I'm not sure who you're going to fight but I wish you the best of luck.

No, I just focus on the positives. But in my line is work the closer you are to metro Atlanta the better paying jobs you get. I would love to move to the country but I need the money first. I plan on moving somewhere else once I retire, many many years from now.

It may make sense to downsize your income and move now. You may be bringing in the big bucks now, but you are also spending big bucks to do it.

You will not be able to enjoy "living in the country" when you are worn out and broken down. There is a reason you don't see old gassers climbing trees and deer hunting.

Move now and enjoy life, or stay and be miserable as you provide a wonderful income stream for the city folk and the tax collectors.

I'm fine now, I enjoy being close to Atlanta for the food and bars and events, and I'm still far enough away where I can shoot guns in my back yard. Plus close to family on both sides. I'm equal time from in-laws and other family. Plus good church and great job.

By no means am I upset. Just hear the same old same old of people complaining. If one hates it that much just move, stop complaining.
