If it's run without being suppressed, 7.62x39 will do the same job for half the ammo cost. 300BO shines with a heavy bullet, and has advantages through suppressors. Most who buy into the fad of 300BO d0 so for the wrong reasons.
I left it because the super sonic round under preformed compared to other super sonic rifle rounds 7.62x39, 6.8SPC, 6.5 Grendel, 300 Ham'r and a couple of others.
And why pay for sub sonic 300 Blk and a suppressor with all these nice 45acp, 9mm, 40sw, even 10mm carbines out today which are mostly more affordable and preform the same and are pretty easy to suppress.

Let em keep listing them....same as they did with the .40 - everyone got to hating on it and prices went south.

Most of the ones I see are pistols and why anyone would want an AR pistol is beyond my thinking ability.
If it's such an awesome deal why would you turn it down because it's 300blk. Just swap the barrel.

The 300BO was optimized for 9" barrel. And it works as designed.
Why anyone would buy a short barreled 5.56 is beyond me, talk about a gross under-performer.
If you reload and have a bolt gun in 300 BO, the possibilities are VAST. The AR platform is fun, but your limited to the over all length due to the magazine. I didn’t consider the 300 BO until I was introduced to reloading. I do like the fact that the 300 BO barrel length only needs to be 9” to burn all the powder. So the AR pistols with an arm brace would definitely be more abundant.
