You said I didn't know.Um....ok. Got a link to what the new ruling is? As far as I know you CAN legally shoulder a pistol brace which is what my article said.
Agreed. You can use adjustable braces and shoulder then. You can not modify them like removing the velcro from the Sba 3 brace. Where you support it doesn't modify it. So you can have a legal adjustment brace and shoulder it. This changed about two years ago.

How is 300blk expensive? It's less than 50cents a round for plinking ammo.
I pay less than .20 per round for 7.62x39. In comparison, even 5.56 is a lot less expensive. I dont see any advantage in owning .300 unless it is suppressed. What advantages, unsuppressed, does .300 BO have to justify paying more than double for the ammo?
Advantages over 556 is you get a lot better performance out of a short barrel.
x39 is for AK's, if I want to shoot cheap x39 I'll shoot my AK's and SKS's. But if I want to shoot an SBR/pistol AR at ranges a pistol caliber can't touch 300blk is the way to go. I just have no interest in a x39 AR and dealing with picky magazines and dirty ass steel case ammo in a direct impingement platform.
I'm definitely not saying it's the best caliber ever, but it has its place. The idea that it's only good suppressed or it's too expensive doesn't make any sense to me.
I actually have 0 interest in subsonic 300blk. If I was just going to shoot subs suppressed I'd be more interested in a pistol caliber carbine than a slow moving 30 caliber.
