why the world cup sucks (for brazilians)

fifa and the brazilian government have thrown the people of brazil to the wind. i dont have anything against soccer itself and enjoy watching the world cup, but not this year

its been getting worse and worse. the government has spent all the money that was supposed to be used for the nations infrastructure on the stadium, advertising, and security (aka riot police)

i think its funny how companies like mcdonalds and what not paint this rosy picture of brazil but thats not what going on

the way i figure is if you have the people of brazil protesting soccer you know something is horribly wrong

i dont really have a dog in this fight but this is what happens when pro-sports takes precedence

It was bound to happen, I think FIFA is to blame for allowing the cup to be held there. They knew exactly how the situation was going to play out and continued on.
