Why Were You Fired from a Job

The district manager for Radio Shack stores in Macon harassed me about the shade of my blue shirt one time too many and I threw the store keys in his face while telling him to go **** himself. But I guess that was more like quitting than getting fired.
^ this is how all of my "firings" went. they were all minimum wage jobs that had the most power tripping managers i'd ever seen. My favorite was a fire red headed huge bitch of a woman who was my manager at a best buy i worked at right out of college. She was one of hte worst people i'd ever met and during a conversation about how "i didnt sound sincere enough when telling someone to have a good day" i told her right where she could put that good day and that ended with one of those "your fired! : **** you i quit!!!"
Someone with negative feedback is gonna come on here and have the nerve to chastise people for loyalty and consistency. Nice. I'm guessing OP that you are just too young and ignorant to know better.
Well, OP, I started working in a grocery store when I was 15 years old and have been working ever since. I have only had 3 jobs in my life, counting the grocery store job in school. Quit that one to take my second job. Quit the second job 15 years later to accept the job I have now. Never been fired and never drawn an unemployment check. I am 58 years old now. I always thought that was something to be proud of.
Never fired, only two jobs, carpenter then deputy sheriff- retired

in my industry we say " you fire yourself". its also great to have union protection when you can be dismissed for about anything.
