But do not get me wrong. I literally SKIPPED dinner after reading this. I said it on a post here a few days ago. Let a few relatives of lawmakers start getting slain, and lets see how quick you see changes.

Stop supporting other countries, build prisons for as far as the eye can see (put alot of people to work building such prisons) and fill them up. PERIOD

They do get free education in prison if they choose to take advantage of it. You can get free college in federal prisons but the education these scum are getting is to be a better criminal. This is why they should be kept separate for all of their time in prison. It would cost less to run a prison if no one interacted with each other but would eliminate the majority of violent crimes in prison. Who cares if it violates human rights, many of these people could hardly be considered people. Georgia needs to redefine the statues of how threats work so if someone on a public place posts about killing or maiming an officer they can respond by putting them in jail. Free speech is a must but we should not be so free that we allow people to talk openly about wanting to kill every cop out there. If anything that speech creates anarchy.

Not just academic education. Social education. Cognitive learning sessions and whatnot. Not saying all convicts don't deserve punishment, far from it. But it does no good to keep treating them like animals when they are going to get out. Although many do deserve to be treated like animals.

If you go to prison at 20 for a gram of coke, you'll come out 3 times as twisted, mean, dumb, immoral, and socially awkward as you were before going in.

You can bet that any websites out there supporting the idea of assassinating key political figures would be shut down in a heartbeat and the website creator would be thrown in jail for something. And anybody who supported those websites would be on watch lists for the rest of their lives...

Forget raped in prison...I hope he gets locked in the room with 4 of GSP's biggest and meanest. I grew up with a ex-Marine (if there is such a thing) as a neighbor...who just happened to be employed by...um...the Georgia State Patrol. I was young...but I knew better than to smart off in his presence.

I got pulled over recently at the northside 'Y' of 75/85 by a young GSP officer. The rental car I was driving had an expired tag on it. I have to say he was respectful, polite and patient while we worked the issue out over the phone with the rental car company. He could have wrote me a ticket...but instead wrote me a warning stating "Just show this to anyone else who pulls you over, and they should let you."

The GSP officer who was shot graduated from the same high school as me, 3 years after I graduated - one year behind my wife. His older brother was in the grade between my wife and I. I didn't 'know' either one of them...but it hits pretty close to home.

It still infuriates me that this career felon was even on the street to kill a police officer. This animal doesn't need educate or reform or anything else that doesn't result in being buried in an unmarked grave behind whatever prison he ends up in...

You can only help people who want to help themselves.

Why help your self when the government will do it for you and then when you are in prison your wife and children will collect benefits from the government. No need to help themselves get any better. They get three hots and a cot for free in prison. They don't have to work. We should go back the the "Cool Hand Luke" days and put all of these sub-humans on county work detail under armed guard and when they run, we shoot them until they quit moving.

Maybe they wouldn't be super repeat offenders if the justice system wasn't so skewed. How about EDUCATING them in prison rather than letting them loaf about watching TV and reading garbage books all day. Just sayin.

Yep I agree make the punishment hard enough that they are educated. As in DON'T DO ILLEGAL THINGS. should be enough education to keep them out of jail.
