Why????????

Specifically, what is garbage about the gun? You claim to have sent them back to the factory so much; what was wrong with them?...And I am far from the "fanboy" that you say. I own Glock's, Springer's, S&W's, Kimber's, Browning's, etc. I have no brand loyalty(okay, maybe I am a little bit of a S&W "fanboy").

Mostly they have weak firing pins/ Cannot cycle HP very well, yes most of them work fine out of the box, I've seen my fair share of Garbage XDS's, Sorry if Fanboy hurt your feelings, Again this IMO( In My Opinion) I also own all different brands of guns myself, I enjoy all of them, I only Hate on the XDS and the PMR30 because they are Garbage out of the box, Enough said im going to bed i have work in the Am:D

Which is it, do they work fine out of the box or are they garbage out of the box? You can't seem to make your mind up.

I have the XDs .45 and just acquired the XDs 9mm . I've had no issues with either even with my reloads. Just a FYI my 2nd gen pmr30 has been reliable with no issues as well.

Right up there with Glocks....

I'm a Glock & Sig guy... And I have to agree!

I tried an XD 45 a while back and didn't like it much, mainly because of the trigger...
I honestly believe that the XDs is "different" than the other XD line of firearms.

I love my XDs 45...
100% in function and accuracy!
Excellent recoil.
To me... The trigger feels just like a Glock.
IMO.., Glock should have made this pistol...

I won't be selling mine.. And just had TruGlos put on, just like my Glocks.
My new favorite carry gun along with the SIG P938s.

Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

I'm not sure why so many are reselling.

I think one reason is that people buy these as main weapons expecting 1911 quality and full-sized recoil feel...

it's a Pocket/BUG

if you are shooting it over 15 yards... you are exceeding expectations
its a POCKET 45. its going to flip a bit.

sheesh, I love a 1911 too, but it is what it is... it is heavy

This is a great point BS. All steel 1911s handle the .45 recoil with little issue. They ARE heavy and there is a considerable difference in a med-small frame poly .45 to a 1911. HUGE difference in felt recoil.

My WC 1911 is like shooting a 9mm compared to my Glock 36 with regards to felt recoil. There is a giant weight variance also so while both are .45 the G36 FEELS like I'm shooting +p+ rounds in comparison. It's more of a challenge to shoot it quickly and requires a lot of concentration on mechanics to keep it on target when shooting multiple shots fast.

You've got to train with the smaller poly guns to be ready to use them proficiently. The poly framed .45 isn't for everyone that's for sure.
