Bilsteins. Check Amazon, i just put new shocks on my truck last month and amazon was $20/each cheaper than Rock Auto. And had free prime shipping. Rockauto kills you with shipping charges.

Wife + 'curb' = new front strut - recommendations ?

I got my spring compressors at Harbor Freight, they work fine for what they are.
I have a feeling you're going to be in it for more than struts. Whacking a curb hard enough to break the strut means other metal parts are VERY likely bent or at least tweaked. Ball joint, upper and lower control arms, sway bar, maybe even the CV joint. I would have a shop take a good hard look at it before digging into it myself. I do hope it's just the strut for your sake
