Give them time they will learn..We the aged have paid the price to many times and learned what works and what does not...It's all about trial and error, That only comes with experience. Nice thing is we try to pass on the knowledge of our past failures and our successes..It's up to them to learn.

I'll bet the old Octagon bar soap we used as kids would work. That stuff had lye in it if I remember correctly.

My uncle (baptist preacher in south Ga) used to tell a story about preaching a sermon one Sunday after he had been "husking" black walnuts. He raised his hands and remarked of "the stain of sin" as he showed his palms. Congregation was aghast!
