Wonder if those same tactics were used at Ossabaw and it was kept hush-hush?? Hog #’s were way down last November.

One guy ,hired by DNR and living on Ossabaw, killed over 1500 in 2016. There was an article in GON last week about it. He used an AR, IIRC.

He’s done that every year for the last several years. Despite his efforts, hogs were still in abundance. We’ve never seen such a drastic decline in the hog numbers as we did this past Fall. It was relatively easy to find hog sign and hogs in years past. There was very little of either seen this past season. Perhaps he’s made some serious progress in the last few seasons.
