I dont think any amount of hunting is going to dent the population one bit. They breed too damn fast. Not sure about migration either. Once they are there they seem to move in with confidence and in ever expanding numbers. I hope that if the population is declining it's from some human action and not a disease moving through the population that could effect other wildlife or us. An plague moving through the wild game population would put a serious damper on my plans for this fall.
