Do a trip to Anchorage and go to WWG yourself. It was a small, unpretentious shop 20 years ago. I should have stopped by last summer, to check them out after their TV fame.
It will be a very nice retirement present.
It started with a specific purpose in mind (limited weight and space on Bush planes), and it is not fu-fu gun.
45-70 is a respected bear/moose caliber in AK.

I’ve bought plenty from that site over the years and never had any problems.

I only found 1 for sale there. It was NIB and it was WAY over what WWAG quoted me just a few weeks back. They also said they have them on the shelf to ship to my FFL upon payment.

I have not located one for sale at a used price. Are they that scarce or is it that those who have them do not want to part with them?
