It'll work.... right up until it doesn't.
It "fixed" a crack in an engine block for me for the last couple of years, of course it's not a daily driver.
Must be a Chebby.
Might have to use the JB Kwik set EXTRA STRONG! Keep the rpm’s under 8000!

Had an old 77 blazer that still ran with a crank like this.
It was knocking so I pulled it out.
I was shocked when I broke it down and found 2 cranks ... lol
Absolutely, just make sure you plug that hole really well. That's probably were the problem started.
