Can anyone recommend an appraiser that knows Winchester Mod 70 bolt actions? My LGS will do one, but all they really do is get info from the major gun sales sights. (Gun broker etc.)

Thanks for any help.

I wasn't sure where to post this question, so thanks to whomever moved it.
or whoever moved it. I know a little about these. Mod 70's, a .225 and 30.06 from 1968 NIB unfired with boxes. American Walnut Monte Carlo stocks I believe and jeweled bolts.

Best place to look is gunbroker at closed auctions. Yes you can use a blue book and get the value (insurance purposes) but at the end of the day a gun is only worth what people are willing to pay

Very true, but finding comparable guns or actual selling price has been hard to do.
