If you are at NRA, you owe to yourself to check out the Model 70 Featherweight in Maple. It's an absolutely gorgeous gun and comes in the classic whitetail slaying niche caliber of 25-06.

Every since I handled one of the Columbia SC Featherweights, I've wanted one. Something like .257 Bob, or 6.5x55 Swede.

I like it! Browning has some maple-stocked X-Bolts that I've been eyeballing, also.

Just not diggin' the Browing as much as the Winchester. Unfortunately, they are not making the maple Featherweight in .308. They are making this one however, in 45 colt!
