Anyone know how much to have tint removed ? There's a 8" strip across the top back of the wife's car I need to have removed. I'd try it myself but don't want to risk messing up the rear defroster wires.

Step 1. Get the idea of using easy off out of your head.

Step 2: heat gun and patience. It will peel off. Use 90% or better alcohol on a microfiber towel to remove residue. Rug gently with the defrost wires, not across them.
Patience is key. Rush it and you'll need a new glass with defroster.
