Has anyone done a WMA quota hunt before. I was selected for the Berry College quota hunt in Nov-Dec. Gonna take my son hunting for the first time. Just trying to get some sort of idea about the quota hunts.

I was on the Joe Kurtz quota year before last. Killed a nice 9. Make sure you have everything that is required because they WILL check you.
I got picked for Hard Labor Creek! Don't even know if it's gun or archery only
I was drawn for the Nov 30- Dec 3 hunt at Berry College. The only issue I see is that when I checked Berry College website for the quota hunt. It states that 1000 slots were open for that hunt. I am wondering if there will be any quality bucks left to take. But the good part of that weeks hunt is that it is a either sex hunt, which will just about ensure that my son has the oppertunity to take his first dear.
