And we all argue about caliber size. If a .22 will stop a gator, it'll stop anything. BRB about to list my 9mm and .45 to buy more .22.

I have a few friends that live down on the bayou that say 22lr to the eye and the bullet will follow the optic nerve to the brain. 'truth' I don't know but they always serve a mean deep fried Gater tail.

You don't have to out run the bear, just your partner. Small pistol, partner shot in knee cap. Same result, so they say....

You probably won't believe this but I had something like this actually happen in Hilton Head about 20 years ago. Playing golf with my dad and another old guy with 2 hip replacements. The old geezer was showing off and whacked a massive gator on the head with his ball retriever. I turned, grabbed my dad and left the old guy behind. He must have s*** his pants because the gator stopped short of attacking him.
