Shouldn't have to pump the septic unless it's too small for the number of people you have on it. If the way is not clogged by grease or paper products the water should just run right on out the drain field. No paper products that cannot be dissolved by shaking in a jar of water for several seconds should ever be flushed. That includes the ones with strings on them. Switch to Scott 1000 or White Cloud from Walmart and don't let anything else, including food and oil, go down the drain.

If you have the tank pumped also have them pull the top and clean the screens so it can drain properly.

Sound advise - I am learning them best I can... My wife once thought the mayonnaise tasted funny, so she dumped a quart jar down the drain so she could recycle the plastic jar.

Also they use so many towels ! Which add to water usage via the washing machine....I can use a towel for three days, while women use three towels a day! Un believable! Lol

when we had a family Reunion here, every female visitor used 3 towels a day(1 for head, 1 for body, 1 to step on out of the shower) and never used them more then once. that washing machine was working overtime

we probably had enough laundry lint to start a forest fire 10 times over

Been having random issues with our Drain - Waste - Vent system lately. Slow drain and clogged toilets = YIPEE!!! It is either a partial clog in the main line near the exit or the septic tank needs pumped. Had a plumber out and he recommended getting the tank pumped first.

I asked my Wife and Two Daughters to back off on their water usage for a while and they DO NOT GET IT. Shower every day, pee 45 times a day EACH and flush every time, wash every piece of cloth in the frigging house... I love them, but Good Lord.

one of my gfs friends i swear uses a ENTIRE roll of tp when she comes over. she is BIG girl and has a lot of area to cover back there, but a whole damn roll!
