I disagree with the bacteria approach. Run a line out to the yard for your washer or put a lint screen on the discharge line. Just as much lint comes out in the wash and the synthetic fabric lint coats the field lines and slowly degrades.

most counties its illegal. Bacteria treatments work. We tested over 5 year period from new tank,then followed sound advice and then had it opened again, no solids at all.
