Wood vs Vinyl Fencing

We have 400ft of fencing that needs to be replaced. Whoever installed our fence didn't even cement in the posts. You can literally push my fence over.

With he price of lumber, we're seriously considering going Vinyl. Thoughts and/or suggestions?

Vinyl sucks it is not strong turns green fast fades and gets chalky .. Its a plastic fence .

I've been replacing my wooden fence recently with cedar. Still have to repaint every now and then. My vinyl has never needed replacing and just needs pressure washing every so often.

Lowes use to contract out and the guy that originally did mine didn't post it with 4x4 or cement it. You could push it over too. Maybe the same guy did yours? Lol

Modern pressure treated lumber is fantastic. As long as you don’t expose it to UV, or weather, or allow it to touch the ground. Other than that it’s great.

If I can remember I will take a picture of my 5 year old PT deck that has completely rotted away. Decking it replaced was 25 years old. Go figure.
