Looking for some help, the closer the better.
I'm wanting to make some wood straight razor scales, but I need the wood cut down into 1/8" flat scales. Preferably without deep teeth marks that will need to be sanded out. I have to do most ofothe work by hand so cutting consistent scale blanks would be a pain.

I ordered one 6" piece of wood from a seller online and he cut it for me, but his bandsaw had a low tooth count so the pictures he sent me looked a little rough. Woodcraft can't use their wood shop to cut up anything you buy for them. :(
May need some other work done to if the future if it works out.

Thanks

Do you have a pic and dimensions of what you want? Could you use a planner?
Where are you located?

I'm in Duluth near Walmart.
Basically getting small blanks usually 6" long and 1 - 2" wide cut into scale blanks usually 1/8".
Right now I have a few large pen blanks I want to cut into scales.

Straight razor scales/handles are what I want to make, so I need the right sized blanks.

I see now. A table saw would probably work. It might be easier if you could get longer pieces to rip down then cut it to length. I hope you can find what you're looking for
