Get a quote to replace it and turn it in asking for reimbursement; while they'll likey come back saying that it was used, etc, at least it is a negotiating starting point

Well, sounds like a law suit, or cut your losses and move on to a new employer.

Sorry to hear that; as previously mentioned, may be time to seek other employment. Ultimately, it's likely going to come down to one of 2 situations:
1. You continue to push the issue, they'll probably quote some obscure policy from your new-hire packet/employee handbook regarding their liability for personal property and tell you "sorry, but they've done everything they can".
2. You continue to push the issue, they just ignore you and if enough feathers are ruffled, they find a way to unemploy you

I'm speculating, but I'll bet on one of the 2 above

Make them replace it and then look for that other job. Sounds like you don't work for the greatest of companies and have to supply your own tools. Do they give you a tool allowance?

How did your employer damage your box? I've always had to move mine, or get a roll back. I always oversaw the move.

It's close to year, that it happen. I been patient with them.
Looks like i might have to keep my option open with an other job.

What hurts me the most is that i bought that tool box soon after i got hired. I was happy working.

How bad do you need the job? If you have already taken it to upper management and been given the brush off I don't know that taking it any higher is a great idea... unless you have disposable income. A company will fire a squeaky wheel 4.73 times faster than an incompetent or lazy employ(please note, this statistic is completely made up but probably close)
