work issue

You can put a sheet metal shim between the box and the caster of the corner that wobbles... Sucks, but you have to know when to let something go with employers... You may fight it and get fired and still have a jacked up tool box.

I am curious what type of work require an 11k tool box? not counting tools

Also the nature of how the box was damaged and why it had to be move may come into play as to why they are not compensating you.

The entire automotive industry... There is a sickness that is very pervasive of mechanics buying $50,000 worth of tools and boxes when they could do the same job with $3,000 worth of Craftsman tools. No offense to the OP - I was there myself. When I had to have a wrecker move my tool box, I knew I had a problem.

cheap tool boxes suck bottom line plus its like safes you dont buy a 400 dollar safe to keep 5K worth of guns. I wouldnt buy a 1k dollar tool box to keep 80k worth of tools. Tools are expensive my computer that I use to help me diagnose was 6 grand plus $1000.00 a year to up date it.And there is a difference between craftsman and snap-on or mac the quality is just better and they come to you every week. Plus a lot of companies dont make the specialty tools that are needed to work on cars so snap-on or matco or mac is about it. Also those are all made in the USA crapsman is not most of there new stuff is made overseas.
