Seriously though, why even bother nuking Atlanta when you have New York City, DC, Chicago, LA, San Fran, etc.? Atlanta is at most a secondary target.

I'd pick Miami, FL. Be nice to call that area a nature preserve when it's all over.... would be an improvement from they have now.

If a nuke hit Atlanta, Georgia would become Mississippi instantly and I’d have a front row seat for the best fireworks show in town. If it hit anywhere else in the state, no one would really know the difference.
