If you had a chance to buy a AR 15 new built with Anderson receivers for 600 would you buy in this climate. Raptor charging handle, adj. Stock, flip up sights, full floating handguard. The intention to upgrade barrel and trigger would you buy it.

Nope. Not even to flip. Spend more time getting it and then trying to sell it and meet the buyer than any extra money you get is worth
Since I can't find decent receivers nor a decent mid-grade to upgrade I was just wondering. There is nothing worth a damn in stock. You could buy a Colt without furniture for 800 at Budds gun shop but if you can find one it's 1,800 bucks.
Nothing wrong with Anderson at all. I’ve trusted my life with them for 14yrs as a Leo. Shot thousands of rounds out of then with no issues at all. Yes I know there is more expensive ones but to me I wouldn’t spend the money for a “name”. My Levi’s are just as good as my big name brand jeans. Just use a good LPK and trigger(which I know you know this) and I would buy it in a second if I didn’t already have 4 of them.
