would you let this squirrel l live

i have local squirrel who tends to go places that it doesn't belong in my yard, normally i take the pests out with a 22 rifle instantly but this squirrel has my pity somewhat even though he eats half my bird seed

the squirrel is blind in one eye(if you walk up to him on hos right side he does not see you coming but when he turns around he runs), can no longer hold his tail up so it drags everywhere he goes, has limp on his right side where there is a scar(he can barely run), and no matter how much noise you make even 1 foot from him on his right side doesn't even bother seeing whats going on.

would you let this squirrel live or eliminate him?

Man if that squirrel wanted to die it would deliver itself to a cat or snake. If his crippled ass has has lasted this long with kids with BB guns and other predators, let him live.

If you don't kill him, it won't be long before a cat or hawk gets him. That's not a great way to go. Do what you want but don't loose any sleep over it either way.
