I personally don't care that you seek current "market" value for your gun, but if you somehow think that the "market" is $1000 for your used Glock, then I personally fear for your mental health......

You are not the only one who fears for my mental health! My wife does all the time! I respect your opinion and your well stated opinion. But, my "market" price may be different than your "market" price. To me, that is the issue. Who sets the "market" price for their gun? If I am selling it, then I set what I feel is the "market" price. If you do not like my price, don't buy the gun. If I have over estimated the price of my gun, then it will not sell. If it does sell, then I set the correct price. I do think that some have priced their guns out of the market, but that is my opinion. I am not going to tell them it is overpriced, or make negative comments about their price. It is their opinion of the market. I must say that I have seen guns sell for way more than I thought they were worth. Someone must have thought it was a good price. Who am I to tell them not to buy it?

Ive got a piece of junk plastic lower sporticle that I cut the barrel down on and hammered a brake on, it doesnt run good but it looks awesome and ill even include 12 pmags at $50 each that I bought for $15 each.......might even include 1000 rnds for $1500.

I wont part with it for any less though........get it before it gets banned.

I equally respect your opinion, and as such, I only offer to better explain mine, to that end, I am not insinuating there needs to be a "Price Police" or that opinions of "true market value" won't vary; my point is that so many try to hide behind "capitalism" when listing that $1000 Glock.

There are a metric ****-ton of people that do indeed know what the market is bringing, yet they continue to double that price and then go on the immediate offensive the moment anyone suggests that they might have over priced. I am not condoning making price comments in sales ads, I'm speaking more in general conversation. You are certainly correct, insane to me may be another's normality, and you are also correct that those items that don't see any offers will likely come down in price...... but in the meantime, I just wanted to vent a little about people acting coy about it

Nice Rant!....... Wait where's all this Walmart ammo???..... I ain't seen no wally world ammo in stock in forever. Winder has a case full of guns.... 12ga and .22 and what not....... But not a single box of noth'in EVER! .... Anyway I joined in December so I wish I knew the good ol days on here. I have bought and sold 5 or 6 in that time abs gotten a good deal. More important everyone has been great to deal with! Stand up guys! Nothing but good experiences on here so far! Hope it stays that way!
Anyway... Back to beating said dead horse! Who the _____ is giving that much for pamgs??????
