Country Folks Superstore in Cumming sells them for like $340 or so...
Wow, a $100 markup over retail? That's crazy... Don't these dealers look around at what other dealers are charging? Or do they just assume that people won't look around for a good deal?
They price their guns at the prices they hope to get. Hoping a customer who doesn't do their research buys it. I don't know how many times I run into people at ranges who is shooting their first gun and say "yeah I got this for blah blah blah" and in the back of my head I'm like, you paid like $150-$200 more than it's worth. To then find out they really don't like it after shooting it and shoot something else they really like and now, the gun they overpaid for is worth 1/3 of what they paid if they try to trade it on what they really want.
Gun stores will let guns sit for months even years slowly dropping the price until it sells. But yeah, I feel you on that bud.
