Okay so this is a long shot, but I'm hoping someone can at least point me in the right direction. My dad gave me this gun and it's a little beat, so I'm trying to get it back to being the shooter it once was. I've done some research and from the serial # I know that it's a first production, 6th variation made between 1937 & 1939, which leads me to believe that I may have to think outside the box a little(like making a grip and fabricating a new front sight......which is what's on it now but I want something a little better). I'll probably post something in the gunsmith section if I don't get any response here.
