Just as the title states, looking for a monte carlo stock for my M44. I know someone has to have bought a M44 with one and returned it to the factory look.

If you want a classic look, I will sell you my 1944 M44 with a Walnut Fajen stock that fits the action perfectly, for $95. I also have several boxes of 1982 brass cased surplus FMJ that will sell for $6 per box of 20. I will have to dig them out to see what I have. The Fajen stock was probably last made in the 1960s+-. This rifle was probably sporterized early on. Has a Lyman front sight. I took off the Lyman rear and rigged up a scout mount. I will also consider trading the 54R for some 7.62 x 25 if you happen to have some or some 7.62x39. I need cash more than ammo though.
