Our ten-year old got one! Here's the pics of the bird, homemade camo, purple boots and all. I put a video with the story. I still can't believe she did it! The bird was about 15 yards when she shot. Things got a little Southern after that...
She carried her bird over half a mile back to the van all by herself:
She had no lightweight camo, so she made some out of old school uniform pants:
This is how we set up. No blind, no decoys on a WMA on the last day of the season:
The call was an early Father's Day present. It was made on 5/8 and called up a bird on 5/15. I think it's a keeper!
