I’d rather see ODT adopt a family in need for Christmas. We could appoint a small committee to supervise, take recommendations for a family or two and let the committee pick one or two families

That would be something I would do myself if I were going to be part. I personally believe things of that nature should be personal and handled as such. Not that I don't trust the average OG but, they are few and the newer members (most of them) have yet to prove themselves. We like to do this every year and will be this year (on a smaller scale) so if its something you want to explore, I'd be glad to help.
