Ive been hunting a nice patch of woods that I would believe to be teaming with deer but never see any. Think I found the reasons. The other day I was sitting in the ground blind to no avail. I got out and decided to do some scouting. I walked deeper into the thicket and stopped to look around. All of the sudden I heard something trotting off into the woods about 30ft to my right. 3 coyotes! I took the safety off the ol Jungle Carbine and crept up to get a possible shot. Real thick woods but one made the mistake of having his butt sticking out just enough between 2 trees. Dropped him dead. Time to set some traps for the rest.

This makes my 3rd. Tough critters. The first 2 I shot ran off like I didn’t hit them then Id find them off in the woods with their chests blown slap out.
