I had one walk right up to me while I was standing next to a deadfall tree root system.
It turned about 15 feet in front of me and foraged on the ground.
I had just taken a #2 and covered it 20 feet away from where I was standing.
Now I know yotes are attracted to certain smells.
It was so close that I shot under him as my scope was set on high power and I didn't want to get busted fiddling with it.
Anyways that thing ran off so fast that I now know why they're such good deer killers as I've never seen a deer cover so much ground as fast as that coyote did.
