We visited Meridian Mississippi last year coming back from Dallas NRA convention which was home to Jimmie Rogers ( the singing brakeman) who sang southern blues and ballads ! I remember listening to him growing up !

If you go back to Meridian one day, there's a Thai restaurant ran by a mother and daughter team on Front Street, Aies Taste of Thai. It and Kati Thai in Gadsden are probably the two best Thai restaurants in the Southeast.
