What a great old video, 60's by the looks of the cars on the street I'd guess.
I learned to skip rounds at an early age, pavement, dirt road, water or grass they all skip when shot at the correct angle.

When I left the Corps and worked Armored Trucks I decided that when the 1st round went off I wouldn't hit the deck like I was trained to.
Just because the guy could shoot well short of you and skip it right into you...
