Your Favorite (or not) Gun Shop. Let’s Hear It!

Bullseye in Lawrenceville is my go-to
Very close number 2 is Dead Center in Buford

I will never go back to Sharpshooters in Roswell ever again due to a information security issue. I took it up with the president and he was less than helpful.
Sorry to hear about your experience with Sharpshooters. I've gotten a couple of used guns from them and they were flexible and respectful.

I HATE going in just about any gun store, too many smart ass, dumb ass (pick one) help.My next try will be Dahlonega Gun.

I have purchased and picked up (FFL Transfer) a number of guns at Cherokee and in general they have great prices and are easy to deal with. That being said, there is one dumb*** that works there that obviously can't read and thinking doesn't come natural either. If you guys want to look at some really high end tactical stuff, make an appointment at KF Armory in Alpharetta.

I love KF Armory but you need to win the Lottery before you walk in there or you’ll leave destitute

In my humble opinion, some of Adventure Outdoors pain in the arse ways I understand, but a lot of it is self inflicted. After the whole Bloomberg thing, and as much volume as they carry/sell, I get that they have to do the whole CYA routine.

But, my Lord, from the time you say "I'll take it" until you walk out the door, is sheer misery. Horribly mismanaged, time consuming, frustrating.

Cherokee G&P and Georgia Gun Store are my go-to shops, which is saying something since I don't live near either of them. I bought a VERY clean, used Sig from Rome G&P at one of the Expo shows, got a great deal on it, and they were super folks. I'd like to do more business with them in the future.

I never have, and probably never will bought a firearm from one of the "big box" chain stores. When I see people at BPS, Academy and the like looking at guns, it's all I can do not to tell them they're getting screwed, go to Cherokee or GGS.

Lots of good ones, but these days I almost exclusively go to Georgia Gun Store, or Quiet Riot for anything NFA. Great prices and great customer service, and within an hour drive from me - I have no reason to go anywhere else.

I usually frequent Mainstreet Guns in Lilburn for their shooting range (it's old, outdated, and sometimes crowded but it's close and the people are nice). *It's in a bad area, so I wouldn't recommend anyone make a special trip to go there, just saves me on traffic, and I enjoy all indoor shooting ranges about the same (think they suck), so it works for me perfectly, ymmv.

I always transfer FFL purchases with Georgia Gun Store and I've made a few new purchases from them ($20 FFL). I always get great service here, and quick email correspondence from Mike when I've made an online purchase and need him to send the FFL info. As professional as the day is long. I always enjoy the drive up 985 to get there as well. If I'm going that way, I'm usually picking up a new gun!

Bass Pro's right around the corner from me, so I'll pop in there occasionally. The prices are high at Bass Pro, but if you've done your homework beforehand, all you have to do is pull out your phone and show them the lower price and they'll match it (has to be brick and mortar and in stock, item in cart), which goes for guns, scopes, ammo, etc.

I made it up to Dahlonega G&P recently and have to say, they have the best prices you could ask for ($10 over cost and $10 FFL), and service is great. If I were in need of 1000 rounds of 9mm or 223, or a new concealed carry piece or AR, this would be my go-to place. Call beforehand to verify stock because their prices sell guns and their average customer drives 2-3 hours to get there.

Cherokee Gun and Ga Gun room. Truprep has been my go-to for parts and accessories for years. 4th armory from time to time.

If i want to see something I’ll go to AO but almost never buy anything there unless it’s a stupid good deal.
