Your Favorite (or not) Gun Shop. Let’s Hear It!

My favorite Middle Georgia honey hole is Chuck's Gun and Pawn in Warner Robins. I love going in there. When you ask to see something from the used gun case they are super helpful and know a lot about what they are selling because they've had them so long. You can't even read the price tags because they've been washed out by the florescent lights. Plus, if you see something you like you can go back to the store every few months and fondle it again because it will still be there waiting for you. Nice shop.

Partly true.

I agree with you but every now and then they'll have something used that is a jewel with a damn good price. That gun won't be there the next time you go back. I missed 2 like that in the past year, one was a preban Colt AR, and the other was a 2nd gen Smith auto. I slept on both and went back the next day, POOF, they were gone.

I HAVE bought a few guns from them that were good deals. Very rare and far between but every now and then they have something.

The guys at Ga Firing line and bullseye take the cake for me. Everyone there has always been kind and friendly never a bunch of know it all assholes. Plus the range is adequately priced.

QuickShot Atlanta is a ****hole. I went to the Atlanta location and some douche nozzle behind the counter was a complete asshole about the yearly discount they were offering for memberships. My thoughts are if I'm already having issues with these asshats and I'm not even a member yet I wonder what it'll be like when I am... Safe to say I'll never step foot in there again.

Another vote for Cherokee Gun and Pawn.. Strange no mention of Big Woods at all.. Range is not bad , but I stay clear of the store. High prices and not the friendliest staff or management. As far as ODT the reasonably priced stuff goes fast, used stuff priced higher than new retail not so much.

I visit big woods about once a year to see if I like it yet... about the only thing i see that sets them apart is the archery range but that's a mute point now that governors has an indoor range much closer to me.
